Sony FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander
The FA-WRC1M sits on the camera's Multi Interface Shoe and drives Sony's radio wireless flash system. Radio does not need line of sight, so receivers work behind obstacles and in bright daylight where optical triggering fails, and range is about 30 m (98 ft). Up to 15 flash units can be controlled in 3 groups for TTL or manual, or 5 groups in group mode, with 14 channels selectable automatically or by hand.
Settings for every group are adjusted from the commander, including 25 manual power levels from 1/1 to 1/256 in 1/3 steps, and high-speed sync is available at all shutter speeds with compatible Sony interchangeable-lens cameras. Pairing an FA-WRR1 receiver takes a few seconds via its power button. The commander can also fire remote camera shutters through receivers connected with VMC-MM1 cables for multi-camera setups. A sync terminal and Multi/Micro USB port are on the body.
