Sony ECM-V1BMP Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
The ECM-V1BMP is the omnidirectional lavalier supplied with Sony's UWP and UWP-D bodypack transmitters, and it is worth buying on its own as the spare that a kit always ends up needing. It is a straightforward electret condenser: 40 Hz to 20 kHz, omnidirectional, 120 dB SPL maximum input, on a 1.2 metre cable.
The connector is Sony's BMP type with a 3.5 mm three-pole mini plug, so it mates directly with a UTX bodypack without an adaptor, drawing 5 V DC and 0.2 mA from the transmitter. Three urethane windscreens and a horizontal tie clip are in the box.
