Sony DC-C2 USB Power Delivery DC Coupler

The DC-C2 keeps a camera that uses the NP-SA100 battery running indefinitely from a USB Power Delivery source. A DC plate goes into the battery chamber in place of the cell and a 1.6 m (5.2 ft) cable leads to the power unit, which leaves the camera's own USB-C port free for other duties. It is built for long interviews, event coverage and streaming where swapping batteries is not an option.

The power unit has a screw hole so a USB-C cable with a screw-lock connector cannot pull out, and an anchor loop secures ordinary cables. A slit takes the supplied fastening strap for mounting to a rig, and a tie-wrap can shorten the cable run. A power indicator lights when the camera is being fed and flashes if the supply or cable cannot deliver over 100 W. The USB PD power supply and cable are sold separately.
