Shure SBC450
The SBC450 is a four-bay networked docking station that charges up to four ULXD6 or ULXD8 transmitters fitted with the SB900B rechargeable battery. The transmitters slide straight into the dock without pulling the battery out, so a rack of wireless bodypacks or boundary units recharges overnight and is ready for the next call. A full charge takes about three hours, one hour returns roughly 50 percent, and a 15-minute top-up yields about an hour of runtime.
Bi-color LEDs on each bay show charging status at a glance, and once the dock is on a network its status can be monitored remotely through Wireless Workbench and SystemOn, as well as third-party control systems such as AMX and Crestron. An internal power supply keeps the wiring simple, and up to three additional SBC450 docks can be linked to charge as many as 16 batteries at once.
