Shure SLXD3+
The SLXD3+ is a plug-on wireless transmitter that turns almost any wired microphone into part of a Shure SLX-D+ digital wireless rig. It clamps onto the XLR output of a mic with a patented locking mechanism for a secure, wobble-free connection, and supplies switchable +12 to +48 VDC phantom power so it works with condenser as well as dynamic microphones. Transparent 24-bit digital audio and greater than 118 dB of dynamic range carry the source cleanly to the receiver.
An expanded wide-tuning range of up to 138 MHz (region dependent) makes frequency coordination straightforward even in busy RF environments, and AES-256 encryption keeps the transmission private. It runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or the optional Shure SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable pack, and its selectable RF output lets you trade range for channel count as the situation demands.
