Shure BLX4
The BLX4 is the single-channel desktop receiver at the heart of Shure's BLX wireless line, the base station that a BLX1 bodypack or BLX2 handheld transmitter talks to. It runs microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity, quietly picking the stronger of two internal antennas to ride over dropouts as a performer moves, and group and channel scan finds an open frequency without guesswork.
It is the receiver you build a system around: order it in the UHF band that suits your area, add a matching transmitter, and connect to a mixer or powered speaker through either the XLR or 1/4 inch output. The link holds a line-of-sight range up to 300 feet, enough for a stage, a sanctuary, or a conference room.
