Shure BLX288/SM58 Dual Channel Handheld System Wireless SM58 Handhelds on One Receiver
The Shure BLX288/SM58 puts two wireless SM58 handhelds on one dual-channel receiver, so two vocalists, or a presenter and a backup, can work the same system. Each BLX2 transmitter carries the SM58 cardioid dynamic capsule that has anchored live vocals for decades, with the tailored midrange presence and rolled-off proximity control that make voices cut through a mix. The cardioid pattern rejects monitors and stage noise to hold off feedback.
Both handhelds pair with the single BLX88 dual-channel receiver over UHF, and QuickScan setup finds clean frequencies for each channel. The system reaches up to 300 ft line of sight with up to 14 hours per transmitter on a pair of AA batteries. It ships with the BLX88 dual receiver, two BLX2/SM58 handheld transmitters, two microphone clips, a PS23US power supply, and four AA batteries.
