Sennheiser SR 2050XP IEM Dual Stereo Transmitter
The SR 2050 is the touring-grade monitor transmitter: two independent stereo channels in one 19 inch rack unit, up to 75 MHz of switching bandwidth and 3,000 frequencies, and 26 channel banks with six of them freely programmable. On a show where the band plan is rebuilt in every city, that tuning range is the whole point.
The XP designation adds a fourth RF power step at 100 mW above the standard 10, 30 and 50 mW settings, for arenas and long throws where the standard setting runs out. An RJ-45 network port puts both channels under Sennheiser Wireless Systems Manager for remote monitoring across the rack. Audio is 25 to 15,000 Hz at better than 90 dB(A) signal-to-noise, and the chassis is 1U at 2,900 g.
