Sennheiser MM 445 Dynamic Super-Cardioid Capsule Head
The MM 445 is the MD 445 capsule as a screw-on head for Sennheiser wireless handhelds, and its argument over the cardioid MM 435 is off-axis rejection. Sennheiser calls the pattern high-rejection super-cardioid, and on a stage with wedges in front and a drum kit behind it is what keeps a lead vocal from arriving with everything else attached.
The electrical picture is close to its sibling: 40 to 20,000 Hz, 1.6 mV/Pa into 245 ohms, 163 dB max SPL, 18 dB(A) of self-noise and 145 dB(A) of dynamic range. It is slightly shorter and lighter at 51 x 67.5 mm and 114 g. It fits the same standard interface as the rest of the range, so G4, 2000 Series, Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 transmitters all take it.
