Sennheiser EW IEM G4 Wireless In-Ear Monitoring Set
The EW IEM G4 set is the complete first monitor rig: an SR IEM G4 half-rack stereo transmitter, an EK IEM G4 bodypack receiver, and a pair of IE 4 earphones, plus the rod antenna and GA 3 rack kit needed to install it. It is the point where a band stops fighting wedges and starts hearing itself.
Switching bandwidth is up to 42 MHz with 1,680 selectable frequencies, so up to 16 compatible channels can coexist and there is room to move when the local RF changes. Audio runs 25 Hz to 15 kHz with better than 90 dB signal-to-noise, RF output goes to 50 mW where regulations allow, and the bodypack runs four to six hours on two AA cells. Pick the band that suits the market: A1 covers 470 to 516 MHz, A covers 516 to 558 MHz, G covers 566 to 608 MHz.
