Sennheiser A 5000-CP Circularly Polarized UHF Antenna
A linear antenna and a handheld transmitter only agree about polarization while the performer holds the mic upright. The moment it tilts, or the singer turns, the match degrades and the signal drops. The A 5000-CP answers that with a helical element that radiates and receives circularly, so transmitter orientation stops mattering and the multipath nulls that cause mid-song dropouts get filled in.
It covers the full 450 to 960 MHz UHF span at 8 dBi of gain into an N-type connector, and mounts on 3/8 inch or 5/8 inch stand threads. At 417 x 417 x 320 mm it is a large antenna and it wants a real stand, but on a big room with a lot of bodies in it there is no substitute. A BNC-to-N adapter is available for racks wired in BNC.
