Sachtler Pedestal C I
The Pedestal C I pairs a pneumatic lift column with a manually adjusted tripod stage and the Dolly DV 75, so one operator can roll a camera across a studio floor and change height on shot without touching a leg lock. It carries 20 kg, weighs 9.2 kg itself, and gives a 39 cm on-shot stroke inside a 68 to 157 cm height range. That combination is what a small studio, a house of worship, or a corporate set needs when a full broadcast ped is more pedestal than the room can hold.
The column takes a flat base mount, which means the FSB series 75 mm heads, DV 10 and DV 12 drop straight on; Video 15 needs adapter 1030, Video 18 S1/SB/Plus needs adapter 3941, and the aktiv heads mount with adapter S2080-0010 (75 mm) or S2080-0011 (100 mm). The dolly steers smoothly and quietly, and the whole pedestal collapses to a 93 cm transit width for a doorway or an elevator. Supplied as the Pedestal column C I, the Dolly DV 75, a manual pump, and a size 4 Allen key.
