Roland V-1SDI Video Switcher

The V-1SDI is the SDI-equipped member of Roland's compact V-1 switcher family, built for stages and venues where cameras run long cable pulls that only SDI can survive. It mixes 3G-SDI and HDMI sources in the same show, with three 3G-SDI inputs and two HDMI inputs feeding a four-channel switch at up to Full HD 1080p. A built-in multi-viewer with audio metering puts every source and the program feed on one monitor, so a single operator can see the whole show at a glance and cut with cut, mix, and wipe transitions plus picture-in-picture.

A 14-channel digital audio mixer travels inside the same chassis, blending the SDI and HDMI embedded audio with a stereo line input and a mic input. Audio runs as linear PCM at 24-bit / 48 kHz and the SDI path conforms to SMPTE 299M, so embedded sound stays intact across an SDI plant. The finished mix is embedded back into the program output and sent to the analog outputs for a PA or recorder.
