Roland V-02HD MK II Streaming Video Mixer
The V-02HD MK II is the smallest useful switcher Roland makes: two HDMI inputs, a program output, a preview output, and a USB-C port that hands the finished mix to a computer as a webcam source. Two inputs sounds thin until you use it for the job it was designed for - a camera and a slide deck, or a camera and a game console - where the alternative is software switching and a compromised frame rate. Processing runs 4:4:4 (Y/Pb/Pr) at 10 bits, which is unusually good for the size, and the input list covers 480i through 1080p plus common computer resolutions.
Audio is a 10-channel digital mixer at 24-bit / 48 kHz. Two 3.5 mm stereo inputs with plug-in power take lavalier or shotgun microphones directly, and the HDMI embedded audio joins the same mix. Monitoring is a stereo headphone jack rated 92 mW per channel into 32 ohms. The whole unit measures 160 x 108 x 51 mm and weighs 0.6 kg, so it lives in the camera bag rather than a road case.
