Rode VideoMic Pro+ On-camera Microphone

The VideoMic Pro+ is an on-camera shotgun microphone that sharpens run-and-gun sound with a focused supercardioid pattern and a purpose-built windshield for strong wind-noise rejection. Onboard audio level control sets gain in steps, and a high-pass filter and high-frequency boost tailor the tone before the signal ever reaches the camera.

It powers from the included LB-1 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, from two AA cells, or over its micro USB port, and an automatic power function starts and stops the mic with the camera to save charge. The kit ships with the LB-1 battery, a detachable 3.5 mm TRS cable, and a micro USB cable, backed by a 10-year warranty.
