Rode NT3 3/4" Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The NT3 is a 3/4 inch cardioid condenser that bridges studio detail and stage toughness. Its 19 mm capsule is internally shock mounted to reject stand and handling noise, and the cardioid pattern keeps the focus on the source in front while rejecting the room and monitors behind. It is a natural fit for acoustic instruments, drum overheads, choirs and voiceover where an accurate, full-range condenser is wanted without a fragile studio mic.
A transformerless output stage drives long cable runs cleanly, and the mic powers from either 48V phantom or an internal 9V battery, which is useful on location or with recorders that cannot supply phantom. It ships with the RM3 stand mount and a ZP1 zippered pouch, backed by Rode's 10-year warranty.
