RDL AMS-TS1 Touch-Activated Electronic Pushbutton with Integral Controller
The RDL AMS-TS1 is a touch-activated electronic pushbutton with its controller built in, designed to drop behind the front panel of RDL and other industry products that use a D-style cutout. Because there is no mechanical contact to click, it operates in complete silence, which makes it a natural choice for control positions near open microphones in studios, courtrooms, and conference rooms. The center of the button illuminates to show state: green when the output is active, red when it is inactive.
The installer sets one of three behaviors: Toggle (touch on, touch off), Momentary (active only while touched), or Pulse (a 125 ms active pulse on each touch). Two open-collector outputs are provided, one pulled to ground when the module is active and the other pulled to ground when it is inactive, so the AMS-TS1 can drive both states of external logic. It operates from a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply, and the internal or external indicator source is installer-selectable.
