Middle Things Fiber Camera Box 12G

The Fiber Camera Box 12G merges a 4K SDI in and a 4K SDI out, 3G, 6G, or 12G up to 2160p60, into a single lightweight optical fiber cable over a Neutrik OpticalCON Duo connector. Replacing two runs of copper BNC with one fiber cable cuts weight on a camera rig and makes the signal path immune to electromagnetic interference over distances copper simply can't cover.

A built-in shutter on the OpticalCON connector protects the fiber cores automatically when it's disconnected, and the box accepts standard LC/LC cables or Neutrik's ruggedized OpticalCon Advanced Duo and Duo Lite cables for field use. At 360g and 12-24V DC powered (a D-Tap to barrel 12V cable is included), it mounts directly on a camera without adding meaningful weight to the rig.
