Miller 835 Non-telescopic Above-ground Spreader

The Miller 835 is a non-telescopic above-ground spreader for the Miller 440 lightweight tripod. Mounted partway up the legs rather than at the feet, it braces the three legs at a fixed pre-set spread, so the tripod goes up and comes down fast and stays stable on steps, slopes, or uneven rocky ground where a ground-level spreader cannot sit flat.

Rubber-tied spreader pins lock each leg quickly and stay captive so they are not lost in the field. Because it sits above the floor, the 835 keeps its footing on terrain that would defeat a ground spreader.
