Miller 3736 CX8 Tripod Kit

The Miller 3736 is a complete tripod system built around the CX8 (model 1093) CompassX fluid head and the 420G two-stage alloy tripod. The CX8 carries payloads from 0 to 12kg (0 to 26.4 lbs) on a 75mm ball base, and its CB Plus counterbalance offers 16 steps (15 plus zero) so you can float everything from a bare camera to a fully accessorised build. A sideload plate lets you drop the camera in and slide it to balance without wrestling the rig into an alignment groove.

Five-step pan and tilt drag plus a true zero setting give you the resistance for slow reveals or fast whip pans, and precision bearings keep both axes silky through the move. The 420G legs level in the head's 75mm bowl and stand on a ground-level spreader base for stability on set. The kit ships with a pan handle and a padded soft case, so it is ready to shoot out of the box.
