Lake People DIGI-TOOL F612 AES/EBU and SPDIF Distribution Amplifier
The DIGI-TOOL F612 is the mixed-format member of the Lake People digital distribution range, handling AES/EBU, AES-id and word clock signals from two inputs across twelve outputs. One section splits an AES/EBU input to four balanced XLR outputs at 110 ohms; the other splits an SPDIF input to eight unbalanced RCA outputs at 75 ohms.
Input sensitivity below 200 mV lets the unit clean up and regenerate a signal that has already run a long cable, which is the usual reason a distribution amplifier goes into a rack in the first place. Word length is 24 bit with sample rates to 192 kHz, and a Multi-Sync option is available. The 19 inch 1U chassis runs on an internal 230 V or 115 V supply.
