Kramer VS-44H2A

The VS-44H2A routes any of four HDMI sources to any or all of four HDMI displays, independently and simultaneously. It runs the full 18 Gbps pipe, so 4K at 60Hz (4:4:4) with HDR10 gets through without being subsampled, and Kramer's Equalization and reKlocking rebuilds the signal so it survives a longer cable than it otherwise would. HDCP is selectable per input, which matters when one source is protected and another is a laptop that should not be forced into an HDCP handshake. EDID is managed per input as well, captured and stored from a connected display.

Audio comes back out on its own: the matrix de-embeds each output's audio to balanced analog on a 5-pin terminal block, with independent volume control per output, and to S/PDIF on RCA. Four preset configurations can be stored and recalled from the front panel, so a boardroom's common layouts are one button away. Control is local via the input, output, EDID, memory and lock buttons with an LED display, or remote over Ethernet web pages, the Protocol 3000 API, or RS-232 from a touch-panel or serial controller; an IR input and a USB port for firmware round out the rear. The 1U 19-inch aluminum chassis is fan-cooled, runs on a universal 100-240V AC supply, and ships with a power cord and rack ears.
