JBL Professional JBL VRX918SP Powered 18-inch flyable subwoofer
The VRX918SP is the self-powered eighteen-inch suspendable subwoofer, designed to fly with VRX932LAP arrays on the VRX-AF frame. A 2268FF dual-voice-coil neodymium Differential Drive woofer runs on 1,500 W peak of Dual-Bridged Class D amplification for 126 dB peak at one metre, from 31 Hz to 220 Hz.
Onboard DSP handles limiting for mechanical and thermal protection. User controls are an input attenuator from 0 to 16 dB, a selectable 80 or 120 Hz low-pass, and an 80 Hz high-pass that can be enabled for the tops. AC is on Neutrik PowerCon with a loop-through, and the line voltage is user-selectable 120 V or 240 V. The cabinet is 18 mm birch in black DuraFlex.
