JBL Professional JBL VRX918S Passive 18-inch flyable subwoofer

The VRX918S is the eighteen-inch suspendable subwoofer for VRX932LA arrays. A 2268H neodymium Differential Drive woofer sits in a front-loaded vented rectangular cabinet with integral rigging so the subs can fly in the same hang as the tops.

It is rated 800 W continuous at 8 ohms with 95 dB sensitivity, running from 31 Hz to 220 Hz, and makes 130 dB peak. JBL recommends 80 Hz high-pass and low-pass filters at 24 dB per octave. Suspension uses the optional VRX932LA-AF frame kit or 10 mm eyebolts. The cabinet is 18 mm 13-ply birch in black DuraFlex; an external amplifier is required.
