JBL PRX912 12-inch powered two-way loudspeaker
The PRX912 puts a 912G 12-inch ferrite woofer and a 2408H-2 compression driver behind an updated image control waveguide, crossed at 2,050 Hz, on 2,000 W peak of Class D amplification. Coverage tightens to 90 degrees horizontal by 50 degrees vertical and the system will make 132 dB, so it holds up as a main in rooms where the 8-inch model runs out of headroom.
The DSP suite is reached from an onboard colour LCD or from the JBL Pro Connect app over Bluetooth: 12-band parametric EQ, dbx DriveRack Automatic Feedback Suppression, a soft system limiter with a Soundcraft Overeasy option, and 180 ms of speaker delay in 100-microsecond steps. One app session controls up to ten cabinets and lines the PRX900 up with EON700, PRX ONE and EON ONE MK2 systems. A G-Sensor detects whether the cabinet is upright or laid on its monitor angle and switches the tuning to match.
