HK Audio PREMIUM PR:O 8 Passive 8 inch Loudspeaker

The PREMIUM PR:O 8 is the compact passive cabinet in the PR:O range: an 8-inch cone driver and a 1-inch compression driver on a constant directivity horn, crossed at 2.5 kHz. The square 80 by 80 degree pattern makes it useful as a front fill or a delay box where a wide horizontal and a wide vertical are both needed, and 97 dB sensitivity means a modest amplifier channel drives it to 122 dB peak.

Power handling is 300 W RMS at 8 ohms and the high frequency section runs a dynamic protective circuit. Connection is NL4 Speakon in with a parallel output, pinned 1+/-. The MDF cabinet has an HK Audio MonoTilt 3 degree pole socket, three M8 rigging points and two integrated handles, and weighs 22 pounds. HK Audio publishes amplifier presets and filter sheets for the Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series.
