Hiwatt Bulldog 440 Studio

The Bulldog 440 Studio is the same 500-watt-at-8-ohms Class-D Bulldog in a lightweight rack-mountable shell, for racks, fly rigs and studio setups where a traditional head box is more furniture than the room has to spare.

The preamp is the original Hiwatt analogue circuit. Two bands of EQ run into a bypassable seven-band graphic, a bypassable limiter handles compression, and active and passive input levels match the bass. XLR and line outputs send a transparent direct signal to front of house. The shell is solid metal rather than ply.
