Gitzo G541 Right Angle Bracket

The G541 bolts to a Series 5 Systematic centre column and turns it through 90 degrees, so the column becomes a side arm and the camera can sit out past the legs, directly over a subject on the floor or a copy table.

It is machined aluminium at 0.86 kg, with a graduated panning base so a repeatable angle can be set and returned to, and a reversible stud carrying both 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch threads for the head. Because it reuses a column you already own rather than adding a separate arm, it is the cheapest way to get overhead reach out of a Systematic already in the bag.
