A short spike bites the top inch of ground. On ploughed earth, deep leaf litter or beach sand that top inch is the part that moves, and the tripod walks. These are 120mm long, so they push past the loose layer and anchor in whatever is underneath.

They are turned from stainless steel, which is the right choice for feet that spend their life pushed into wet ground, and they come with large and small spacers so one set fits different Gitzo leg diameters through a 3/8 inch thread. They suit every Gitzo tripod except Series 1. Set of three, 21 grams.
