Gitzo Series 3 Centre Ball Head

The Series 3 centre ball head is the middle of the range and the one that pairs with Series 2 and 3 legs: 0.77 kg, 12.6 cm tall, on a 60 mm base that matches the upper disc of a Series 2 Mountaineer or a Systematic with a flat plate. Rated safety payload is 20 kg.

Ball friction and panning lock independently, so the horizon can be set once and then swung a full 360 degrees. A bubble level sits in the base, front and lateral tilt each run -90 to +40 degrees, and the quick release takes the GS5370D plate that the rest of the Gitzo head range shares.
