Gitzo Series 5 Off Centre Ball Head

This is the largest off centre head in the range, sized for the 90 mm castings of a Series 5 Systematic. The offset ball gives -180 to +180 degrees of front tilt and 0 to +90 degrees laterally, so a camera can be swung fully vertical or below the horizon without swapping to an L-bracket.

Magnesium construction keeps it to 1 kg and 14.2 cm tall on a 76 mm base, and the rated safety payload is 14 kg. Ball friction and the 360 degree pan are locked separately, and a spirit level in the base gives a reference for levelling before a pan. The quick release plate mounts on a 1/4 inch screw.
