Focusrite RedNet HD32R 32-Channel Pro Tools HD Dante Interface
RedNet HD32R is the bridge between Pro Tools HD and Dante. Two Mini DigiLink ports connect to the HD system and carry 32 channels in and 32 out at rates up to 96 kHz, halving to 16 by 16 at 176.4 and 192 kHz. From the network side the HD rig simply appears as another Dante device.
The 1U chassis carries two etherCON network ports and a BNC word clock input and output, so it can lock to house clock or provide it. Two IEC inlets feed redundant power supplies with retaining clips, which is the reason this unit and not a desktop adapter ends up in a machine room.
