Focusrite RedNet TNX 128-Channel Thunderbolt 3 Dante Interface
RedNet TNX takes the channel count that used to need a rack and puts it on a desk. Out of the box it carries 128 channels in and 128 out at 24-bit / 192 kHz over a single Thunderbolt 3 connection, and a paid Dante Ready upgrade raises that to 256 by 256 at rates up to 96 kHz.
Two Thunderbolt 3 ports allow daisy chaining and supply 15 W each, and two standard RJ45 connectors handle the Dante side on Cat 5e or better. Drivers are multi-client ASIO and WDM on Windows and CoreAudio on Mac. It is AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110 compatible with DDM, which is what makes it usable in broadcast plant rather than only in a studio. The unit measures 144 by 212.4 by 71.6 mm and weighs 1.49 kg.
