Focusrite RedNet D16R MkII 16-Channel AES3 Dante Interface
RedNet D16R MkII moves sixteen channels of AES3 in each direction between a legacy digital console or converter rack and a Dante network. Per-channel input and output level controls are the part that saves a job: an old AES source that runs hot or shy can be corrected at the bridge instead of at the desk.
Connections are two DB-25 in AES59 pinout for the bulk of the I/O plus XLR, RCA and BNC word clock in and out. Redundancy is built in on both sides, with dual power supplies running 100 to 240 V at 30 VA and dual etherCON ports with automatic switchover. Sample rates go to 192 kHz at 24-bit.
