Focusrite ISA ADN8 Eight-Channel A-D Card with Dante for ISA 428 and 828 MkII
ISA ADN8 is the eight-channel converter card for the ISA 428 MkII and ISA 828 MkII. It slots into the host preamp and converts all eight channels at up to 24-bit / 192 kHz with 121 dB of A-weighted dynamic range, which is what lets a rack of ISA preamps feed a Dante network directly instead of through a separate interface.
Outputs cover primary and secondary Dante on RJ45 for redundant networking, AES3 on DB-25, two TOSLINK ADAT ports and word clock in and out on BNC. Running Dante primary and secondary from the same card is the reason this is the card specified for broadcast and install racks rather than a generic converter.
