DVDO H265-4KENC-1 AV over IP H.265 4K60 Encoder
The H265-4KENC-1 is the source end of DVDO's AV over IP system. It takes one HDMI 2.0 input at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, encodes it with H.265, and puts it on the network for any decoder on the same system to pick up. A system scales to 256 encoders and 256 decoders, in one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many arrangements, so the same encoder can feed a single display or every screen in a building.
An HDMI loop-out keeps a local monitor fed at the rack. Video wall splicing up to 5x5 is available when the far end is an H265-4KDEC-1, and multiview modes including PiP, PbP, 2x2, 3x3 and custom layouts are available with an H265-4KDEC-MV-1. The encoder runs on PoE over the same Cat6 cable that carries the stream, up to 120 m, and passes bi-directional IR, RS-232 and I/O control through to the decoder end. Setup and routing happen in a free iOS or Android app with live preview, or on the front panel buttons.
