JVC KA-EN200G HEVC Streaming Encoder

The KA-EN200G is an H.265/HEVC streaming encoder that installs into the expansion slot of JVC GY-HC500, GY-HC550, and GY-HC900 Connected Cam camcorders. Rather than adding an external box, it turns the camera itself into a contribution encoder, carrying 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling over public networks at roughly half the bitrate an H.264 path would need for comparable quality. It handles standard, HLG, and J-Log gamma so an HDR signal keeps its grading intent from lens to receiver.

The module streams 1920x1080 and 1280x720 at 60, 50, 30, and 25p, up to a 24 Mbps ceiling, over MPEG2-TS/UDP, Zixi, and SRT. Paired with a BR-DE900 decoder at the receiving end, it lets a Connected Cam camcorder deliver 1080p60 10-bit 4:2:2 video over IP from any location and hand off a contribution-grade 3G-SDI output for mission-critical live work.
