Datavideo KMU-300
The KMU-300 is a 4K multi-camera processing switcher that runs a whole multi-cam look from a single Ultra HD source. It carves up to four region-of-interest crops out of one 4K input and treats each as its own 1080p camera, so a single locked 4K wide shot becomes four independent HD angles that you cut between live. A 14 inch capacitive touchscreen with a joystick and buttons drives the crops and the switching, and the same panel doubles as a controller for connected PTZ cameras.
HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 inputs with loop-through feed the processor, and it puts out three HDMI program feeds plus an aux, all at 1080p or 720p. A built-in encoder records to an SD card and streams to two platforms at once, up to 36 Mbps combined record-plus-stream, while an on-board audio mixer embeds RCA, XLR, camera, and PC sources into the program. It is a complete flypack studio for a one-operator 4K shoot.
