Digitech Whammy Ricochet Effect
The Ricochet puts Whammy pitch shifting into a stompbox with no treadle. Instead of a pedal you set where the note is going and how fast it travels: the Pitch control picks one of seven intervals - 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, octave, double octave, or octave plus dry - and the Range switch decides whether the shift goes up or down, across a four-octave span.
Two ballistics controls own the motion. Shift sets how long the note takes to reach the target pitch; Return sets how long it takes to fall back. A momentary switch makes the footswitch hold-to-engage or latching, so a shift can be held indefinitely rather than only while your foot is down, and a trajectory LED ladder lights top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top to show direction and rate while it moves.
