DigiTech Trio+
TRIO+ listens to you play a part, works out the chords and the rhythm, and then plays bass and drums behind it. Plug the guitar in, hit the Band footswitch to teach it the progression, hit it again and the band comes in. Twelve genres are on the Genre control - blues, R&B, rock, alternative rock, metal, pop, electronic pop, hip-hop, country, folk, latin and jazz - each with twelve styles, including 3/4 and 4/4 options.
Bass and Drums knobs set the mix, and a Simple Bass button picks between three bass-line modes when the generated part is busier than the song wants. Beyond accompaniment it is a looper: it learns up to five song parts for an intro, verse, chorus, bridge and outro, records up to 230 seconds per part, and sequences those loops into a full arrangement on the fly. Loops are stored to a microSD card, and the box includes an 8 GB card and a power adapter.
