Datavideo HS-40008 Input Portable 4K Production Studio

The HS-4000 is Datavideo's flagship portable production studio, packing an eight-channel 4K switcher, a built-in 17.3-inch 4K UHD multiview monitor, and a control surface into a single road case. It carries twelve digital inputs, eight SDI and four HDMI, with eight active at a time, and every input runs through a scaler for up and down conversion so mismatched cameras and computers all key and cut cleanly. Program and multiview leave the unit as 12G-SDI and HDMI, keeping the whole chain in true UHD 4K 60/50p.

Beyond switching, the HS-4000 streams and records built in, so a full show can go live and be captured to an SD card without a separate encoder. A 5-inch touchscreen on the control board drives presets and effects, four XLR inputs and two outputs handle audio, and RS-232, GPI, tally, and LAN connections tie it into a larger rig. It pairs with the HC-850 hard case for transport between venues.
