The FT2-1200 spreads nine module slots across a single row, which is the arrangement to use when the table has width but not depth. Its cutout is 4 in. deep by 10 in. wide, shallow enough for a table edge or a narrow lectern top that cannot take the two-row sizes, and every module still sits within easy reach in a straight line.

Two swiveling dogs clamp it to a surface up to 1-3/4 in. thick, with a template provided. The chassis is black metal and the retracting cover comes in black or alloy with a magnetically attached bezel. The lid is the pass-through type, retracting into the enclosure and leaving cutouts so cables stay connected and extended when it is closed. ELEC models add the powered module bus, which backlights the module icons and is required by one-touch retractors, active connector plates and USB rapid charging modules; MECH models take the passive modules only.
