Crestron FT2-202 FlipTop Cable Management System, 202 Size

The FT2-202 is the shallowest FlipTop in the FT2 line, laying six module slots out in a single row behind a 3-1/4 in. deep cutout. That depth is the point: it drops into a narrow lectern rail or a table edge where the 5-3/4 in. cutout of the larger sizes will not fit. The lid is the pass-through type, so cables can stay plugged in and fully extended with the lid closed.

Installation is a cut, a drop-in and four screws, which turn two swiveling dogs against the underside of the surface up to 1-3/4 in. thick. A template is included. The chassis is black metal and the retracting cover comes in black or alloy, with a magnetically attached bezel that finishes the edge without visible fasteners. ELEC models carry a powered module bus, which is what backlights the symbol icons and what one-touch retractors, active connector plates and USB charging modules require; MECH models leave that out and take the passive modules only.
