Crestron FT2A-CBLR-1T One-Touch Cable Retractors for FT2 ELEC FlipTops
A one-touch retractor is the answer to the cable that never gets put away. The cable pulls out of the FlipTop to five feet, and a press of the backlit button on the module sends it back into the enclosure on its own, with the loop contained beneath the table rather than hanging in the knee space. Each module icon is the international symbol for its connection type, backlit for a darkened room.
The assembly is in two parts: a module that occupies two slots in the top of the FlipTop, and a retractor enclosure that slides onto the side of the chassis below the table and snaps into place. A cable tail below the table lands on a DM transmitter, switcher or similar device. Retractors normally install at the left and right ends of a row; an FT2A-CBLR-BRKT bracket puts one mid-row instead, one bracket per row. Wire the retractors in a FlipTop back to a control system or DMPS over a single Cresnet run and they can be programmed to retract together, for example after five minutes with no video detected. These require an FT2 ELEC FlipTop.
