Clear-Com FSE-BP50 FreeSpeak Edge 5 GHz Wireless Beltpack

The FSE-BP50 is the FreeSpeak Edge beltpack, and it moves the crew onto the licence-free 5 GHz ISM range where a venue's Wi-Fi and 2.4 GHz traffic are not already fighting for room. Nine programmable keys, a large colour screen, dedicated A and B encoders, individual level controls for C and D and a master volume sit on a body shaped to sit against the hip. Audio bandwidth reaches 12kHz, wider than most partyline gear.

Output power is adjustable from 1 to 24dBm within the channel and country the panel is set to, using OFDM modulation across 5170 to 5875 MHz in 20 MHz channels. Typical range is 250 ft indoors and 750 ft outdoors per transceiver. The 4400mAh battery gives about 12 hours, and the shell is rated IP54 against water and dust.
