Clear-Com BAT80 Lithium-Ion Battery

The BAT80 is the lithium-ion pack for Clear-Com's FreeSpeak Edge and FreeSpeak Icon beltpacks. In an FSIC-BP19 it runs past 18 hours; in an FSE-BP50 the 4400mAh cell is rated at about 12 hours, which is why a spare per pack is standard practice on a long call.

It charges in the AC80 drop-in charger or in the beltpack itself over USB. Buying spares in pairs and labelling them by position is the simplest way to keep a rotation honest, since a pack that has been through a season of shows will not hold what it did on day one.
