Clear-Com FSE-BASE FreeSpeak Edge Base Station

The FreeSpeak Edge Base Station is the system core for FreeSpeak wireless intercom, and its defining trick is that it runs all three bands at once: 1.9GHz, 2.4GHz and 5GHz beltpacks can be deployed concurrently on one system, with FSII, Icon and Edge packs roaming between overlapping transceivers. Capacity is 16 beltpacks, 10 E1 transceivers and 6 IP transceivers, with 100 channels, 100 groups and 200 roles in the configuration.

It is also the wired hub. Eight Dante ports bring the intercom onto an audio network, eight RJ45 four-wire ports and four 2-wire XLRs tie it to existing partyline and analog gear, and two DB9 GPIO connectors handle system control. The front panel is a working user station in its own right: two colour touch screens with four keysets, a 4-pin XLR headset, All Call, Stage Announce and Remote Mic Kill. Setup runs from those screens or from the browser-based Core Configuration Manager. A four-wire PGM/SA breakout cable and an external PSU ship in the box.
