Chauvet DJ Sentinel Spot Q60 ILS
Most moving-head spots at this size use a white LED behind a colour wheel, which gives you eight fixed colours and nothing in between. The Sentinel Spot Q60 ILS uses a 60W quad-color RGBW engine instead, so it mixes any colour, fades between them smoothly, and does pastels a wheel cannot reach - while still projecting patterns through five rotating glass gobos plus open, all indexing and slot-n-lock replaceable.
It reads 8,687 lux at 2 meters through a 12-degree beam, pans 540 degrees and tilts 229, with Totem Mode to keep the beam on the floor when the fixture is stand-mounted. A D-Fi transceiver is built in, so it sends or receives DMX and ILS wirelessly with no dongle - it can drive an ILS rig or follow a GigBAR. Control is 9 or 15 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR from a full-colour LCD, with the optional IRC-6 or ILS Command for handheld use. It draws 76W (seven units per 120V circuit) and weighs 9 lb.
