Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS
The Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS is the zooming wash in the Sentinel line: seven quad-color RGBW LEDs totalling 140W behind a motorized zoom that runs 5 to 27 degrees. At the tight end it is effectively a beam at 30,537 lux measured at 2 meters; opened to 27 degrees it becomes a broad even wash at 3,390 lux. Because the zoom is on a DMX channel, that transition is a live move rather than a setup decision.
RGBW mixing handles saturated colour and pastels with smooth fades, and the head pans 540 degrees and tilts 225 with reduced ranges available. A D-Fi transceiver is built in for wireless DMX or ILS - it can drive an ILS rig or take cues from a GigBAR without a dongle - and Totem Mode keeps beams on the floor when the fixture sits at head height on a stand. Control is 9 or 14 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR from a full-colour LCD, or the optional IRC-6 / ILS Command. It draws 148W at 120V, links six units per circuit, and weighs 13.8 lb.
