Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q120
The Sentinel Wash Q120 puts a 120W quad-color RGBW engine behind a Fresnel lens, which is what separates a wash light from a spot with the gobos taken out - the Fresnel scatters the edge so adjacent fixtures blend into one field instead of leaving hard circles on a wall. It makes 4,189 lumens and 8,710 lux at 2 meters across a 16-degree coverage angle.
RGBW mixing covers full saturation and pastels with smooth fades, and the head pans 540 degrees and tilts 260 with reduced-range options for low ceilings. A full-colour LCD gives a plain-text readout for addressing and mode changes, and an onboard USB-C port takes firmware updates directly. Under DMX it runs 10 or 14 channels over 3-pin XLR; master/slave and the optional IRC-6 remote cover console-free operation. It draws 152W at 120V (three units per circuit), weighs 7.8 lb, and ships with a 5-foot power cable.
